| To all our service personnel in Iraq. I was and am against this war. However I have and will fully support our serving troops. You are doing an excellent job under very difficult conditions. I and my family are proud of you all and believe you all get a raw deal just for doing the dirty work that others don't want to do but only talk about. Talk is cheap. Keep going guys keep as safe as you can and come home to your loved ones. Good luck to you all. Be proud to be BRITISH and fly the Union Flag high.

| Very nice to know that the RAF is actively recruiting Gays at the Manchester Carnival. |
| I personley find the report on todays mod news re the fusileir very disturbing. In the60s inAden the army shot and killed 2 13 year olds. This made great headlines around the world. The salient point which was not reported was that these kids had been sent to throw primed grenades into the sanger occupied by our soldiers; having been duly challenged 3 times they continued to approach the postion. The soldiers shot them. There was uproar in the press. To our politicians I will just say this; you send our troops into conflict to defeat the perceived enemy;they are highly trained and they are through training trained killers carrying out the dirty jobs. When is our government going to recognise the job our forces do on our behalf? maybe the answer is that the politicians meet on the field of combat and sort it. That any soldier is brought to task for carrying his duties to me is wrong. This is a personal view. |
