Career Transition Partnership
If you are due to leave the Forces can you answer the following questions?
What sort of job do you want when you leave?
How well would your military skills and experience relate to civilian employers?
What can you offer civilian employers?
How good is your CV?
Would you be better off staying in and getting more qualifications and experience?
What type of civilian job are you suited to?
What do you know about housing and finances when you leave?
If your answer is "don't know" to any of these questions, then you are not alone. Resettlement can be a daunting prospect. The Career Transition Partnership provides impartial advice, information and support to all eligible Service leavers.

Why do resettlement?
Leaving the military and making the transition to civilian life is a huge challenge and you will have to make many important decisions. CTP can help you make those decisions.
If you attend a 3 - day Career Transition Workshop (CTW) you will be able to review your achievements, identify your transferable skills and prepare to find, and get, the job you want.
You may have served your country for most, if not all, your working life - resettlement is funded by the MOD as a reward for your service.
The CTP is there to help you move forward positively into the civilian world. But it is down to you to make the first move. Don't leave it too late!
