First joint NATO-Russia Crisis Response Exercise held near Moscow

Fighting the consequences of a terrorist attack: a NATO-Russia crisis response exercise simulates an international response to a terrorist attack on a chemical plant.

The exercise was held in Noginsk, 70 km outside of Moscow, from 25 to 27 September. It was the first-ever joint NATO-Russia crisis response exercise and involved close to 700 Russian and 300 international personnel.
