Film extras with military experience are being sought by the UK film and television industries.
The production company making the second series of the popular TV series ‘Ultimate Force’ are looking for military personnel to act as ‘Extras’ in this as well as other productions.
The search is being co-ordinated by e-media-c, a government-endorsed company who act as a search facility for the UK film and television industry. They have identified a large demand within the film industry for those with military and police experience.
Paul Booth, Chief Executive of e-media-c says, “The film and television industry would far rather work with individuals with military experience, even if they have no acting background, rather than trying to teach traditional Extras, or ‘Supporting Artists’ how to behave in military situations”.
All applicants will be managed by one of the UK’s leading casting agencies, Mad Dog Casting and will gain exposure to influential personnel within the industry.
