A suicide attacker has killed two people and wounded 60 others after detonating a car laden with explosives in eastern Afghanistan.
The Taliban claim they carried out the attack in Maidan Shahr, the capital of Wardak province.
They say it was revenge for the hanging of four insurgents convicted by Afghan courts of crimes ranging from rape to murder at the country's main detention centre in Kabul.
This morning's blast went off shortly before 7.30am local time in a street where international and Afghan security forces have a co-ordination office.
