Three British Heroes Are Home

Thursday, November 20, 2008

Source: The Sun Online

The bodies of three soldiers killed in Afghanistan came home to Britain yesterday.

Hundreds watched as hearses carrying the men’s Union flag-draped caskets drove slowly by.

The dead — Marines Neil Dunstan and Robert McKibben, both 32, and Gurkha Colour Sgt Krishnabahadur Dura, 36, — had earlier been flown back to RAF Lyneham, Wilts.

Former Falklands vet Marty Power watched the solemn cortege in nearby Wootton Bassett.

He said: It is important we show our respect and thanks.

Marines McKibben and Dunstan died together. All three perished after their vehicles were hit by explosive devices.
