The Alliance also claims to have taken more than 20 leaders of the notorious Haqqani group out of circulation as well as 50 Taliban commanders. Eight-out-of ten of the monthís 190 operations happened without shots being fired.
Col Rafael Torres, ISAF Joint Command Combined Joint Operations Centre Director, said the terrorists had been feeling the pressure as a result of latest actions.
He added: ìThese operations have degraded the insurgents' capabilities to execute complex attacks against the Afghan population and helped facilitate further security force operations to degrade criminal activities in Afghanistan.î
Col Torres said the list of successes has included significant gains in the eastern province of Khost, where the Haqqani network has been locked in a battle with ISAF troops.
Last week an attempted suicide attack on Forward Operating Base Salerno was successfully repelled with a number of insurgents killed during the fighting.
Camps where foreign fighters are being trained have also been targeted by ISAF troops in Paktiya province and scores of weapons, rounds and IED components taken out of circulation.
Col Torres emphasised: ìWe will continue to kill or capture these insurgent groups who are constantly terrorising the peaceful people of Afghanistan.
These combined operations establish the security needed to train the Afghan National Security Forces, protect the populace and improve governance.
