A door-to-door sales firm is at the centre of a police probe into the brutal attack on 89-year-old war hero Bob Schofield, it emerged yesterday. All 16 people arrested over the attack work for the firm in Blackpool.
Royal Navy veteran Bob was hit by burglars after returning home from a Remembrance Day service. He’s still in hospital.
Cops suspect staff may have eyed burglary targets while visiting homes in Salterforth, Lancs.
