This is the moment a German Second World War mine exploded in Dorset yesterday.
The one-ton air-dropped ground mine was detonated in a controlled explosion after it was found lying on the seabed of Portland Harbour Tuesday afternoon.
The mine was towed a mile out to sea to deeper water outside the harbour and destroyed by Royal Navy explosive experts.
